Just wondering what others like from this site. Last summer I ordered the emulator oil and CoQ10 to mix in with it. I use it in the morning under my sunblock. This morning I ordered the serum quartet. I also ordered some niacinamide and glucosamine to try to make a toner with. My skin always reacts when I try a serum with an ingredient list a mile long so I like how they have mainly actives in their products. I also like their lip products.

OOh! You are adventurous. I haven't seen the serum quartet. I'd better not go look. I'm absolutely hung up on Shea Terra products and adding SA's carnosine and idebenone powder to them (for my neck and body that is). For my face, I stick with the Bright-I (am) and the Mitochondrial Boost (pm) and Anti-aging Cream (am). I really don't want to use their ready-mades when I've finished this batch as I can't stand these parabens in everything. Good for you! I believe in experimenting.

I have been using the carnosine on R's recommendation. Too early to tell if anything is happening. Her skin is almost ethereal looking and translucent but she is light and I am dark so translucence likely won't happen here! I'm really interested in the toner you are making. What does the glucosamine do?

Niacinamide and glucosamine are supposed to work together to help prevent hyperpigmentation and (I think) reduce it. I found the recipe on EDS. I use NIA24 sunscreen which contains niacinamide and I really like it. I also read the other day that niacinamide can help prevent irritation from Retin-A.

I definitely have to use some niacinamide with my Retin-A. My arm skin is horribly irritated by it. I get huge welts both there and on my face, but not on the backs of my hands. Thank you for the input
